Chip Breaker for MN200 - A Chip Breaker is a block of phenolic resin that sits inside the fence of a miter saw and aids in cleanly cutting mouldings by filling any gap that may occur between the back edge of a moulding and the cutting fence. Chip Breakers are approximately 2” x 2 ¼” in size and range from ½” to ¾” thick. They are held into the saw fence by two allen key bolts. Chip Breakers are wear items, and must be replaced regularly to ensure consistent clean cutting.
